That’s why the TREATS FOR LIFE™ fundraising program is at the core of what we do.

There are millions of pets that need a good home and the number increases each day. The costs of running even a small animal shelter can be enormous. Money is a constant problem yet shelter after shelter continues to do good work using the resources they have.

We can’t solve every problem nor can we save every pet. We can, however, working together as a team, help by taking a small portion of every sale, at the manufacturing level, wholesale level, and retail level, and donating these funds at the local level to the shelters that need them the most.

Participation in the TREATS FOR LIFE™ fundraising program is a win-win situation for everyone. It will save the lives of abandoned pets, it will provide assistance to your local animal shelter, making a difference where it’s needed the most. Simply put, it’s the right thing to do and good business at the same time.

1. Under our TREATS FOR LIFE™ fundraising program, we designate one dog treat line, one cat treat line, and one horse treat line to participate in the program.


2. We ask each retail store participating in the program to donate a portion of their normal profit on these products to a predetermined local animal shelter.


3. We in turn, make a donation to the same shelter.


4. We tabulate sales made in each territory and send each store a tax deductable receipt for the amount they donated.

Remember, unlike some charities, 100% of the proceeds from this program goes directly to the shelter to feed, house, and find homes for unwanted animals who deserve better.

There are a few condition that must be met before we can set up a TREATS FOR LIFE™ fundraising program in any given market:

1. We must have an authorized Spectrum Pet Care Sales Representative working in the market where we implement a localized TREATS FOR LIFE™ fundraising program.


2. We must have the cooperation with the local shelter to assist us in setting up retail stores to participate in the program.


3. The local shelter must qualify as a non-profit organization under existing IRS rules.
