Founded in 1995,
Spectrum Pet Care, Inc. is a leading
specialty pet products manufacturer
located in Montgomery City, Missouri.
We produce all-natural and organic
dog, cat, and horse treats in our own state-of-the-art
plant facility.
Most
products we manufacture are sold under
our customers' proprietary (house brand)

OUR
MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES:
PET FOOD EXTRUSION: Our
primary pet food extrusion operation
centers around an Insta-Pro™ Model 2500
extruder with pre-conditioner.
This state-of-the art dry-heat processor
cooks, sterilizes, expands, and forms a
wide range of pet treats and snacks.
TREAT AND SNACK EXTRUSION: Although
we can manufacture a wide range of treat
and snack products using our
Insta-Pro™ Model 2500 extruder.
However, we can also manufacture baked
and fried products using other equipment
within our manufacturing environment.
Our
state-of-the-art snack food equipment
produces a variety of highly
palatable, light and crunchy, healthy
snacks for dogs, cats, and horses with
shaping capabilities second-to-none.
COOKIES AND BISCUITS:
Scheduled for installation in late 2008,
our new ProBake™ Rotary Molder Cookie
Machine will manufacture a wide variety
of cookies and biscuits including dog
(bones) treats and snacks, light and
crunchy snacks for both dogs and cats,
and an absolutely fabulous line of horse
treats in multiple flavors (molasses,
apple, and carrot).
PACKAGING: Packaging,
today, is one of the most essential
parts of any strategic marketing plan.
We address our customers' packaging
needs with a wide range of
state-of-the-art equipment including a
General E1VC Form/Fill/Seal packer with
capabilities of 80 packs per minute, two
Automatic Packaging fill and seal
machines, and a host of semi-automatic
baggers/fillers and support equipment.
Our packaging capabilities are centered
around ensuring product integrity,
extended shelf life, and high resolution
graphics.
SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE: Our
plant infrastructure is designed to
ensure quality at every stage of the
manufacturing process. We do all
of our grinding in-house ensuing that we
don't have the need to add chemical mold
inhibitors, preservatives, or other
artificial means to ensure our product
integrity. Our mixing systems are
computer driven and meet exacting
standards. Our Belt-O-Matic™
drying system ensures proper moisture
control on every product we manufacture.
Products are stored in a
climate-controlled environment both
before and after packaging. |
